If I'm not wrong, agdpmod is only applies when using WhateverGreen. NootRX doesn't require any arguments to work, and it's a better option for Tahoe right now.

So if I'm already using NootRX on a RX 6XXX series on Tahoe, can I simply change the GPU to the RX 570 8GB and it'll boot up fine without any config.plist changes?
When using an RX 500 or RX VEGA series GPU you are best served using WhateverGreen.kext.
You do not need to use the agdpmod=pikera boot argument with the RX 500 or VEGA series of AMD GPUs.
NootRX.kext is solely aimed at the newer Navi ll series of cards (RX 6000 series).
NootRX includes the agdpmod=pikera boot args, so it is not necessary to have it in the config.plist when using this kext and a compatible GPU.
