AMD + Nvidia GPUs

Is there any reason why this shouldn't work? Every time I boot with the nvidia gpu also installed, mac os will not boot. I have followed the steps for enabling a nvidia gpu. Even if there is no fix that would allow me to use both under mac os, it would be nice to be able to disable that pcie slot in config.plist so I don't have to put it in and take it out when I boot into windows. Thanks

As I may have to deal with the same issue as OP in the near future: Do you know how much of its rated wattage a disabled card will draw?

Not sure as I've never had to do it but I'd assume it would draw the same power as if it was sitting idle at it's lowest core speed.
