Hi, I tried to install macos yosemite on this PC but it won't even show the picker instead it shows x64 exception error maybe I might use AMD fx patch but is there any ways to fix this?

The AMD Vanilla kernel patches don’t work with OS X Yosemite. They are designed to work with macOS High Sierra or newer.

You will need a patched Kernel if you want to install Yosemite, best place to look for something like that would be over at InsanelyMac in their AMD Development forum.

I think this was the last kernel produced for Yosemite 10.10.5

I thought it's backward compatible cs I'm pretty new to hackintoshing

The AMD Vanilla process is only backwards compatible to High Sierra. It doesn’t include the older versions, as they require different patches and fixes.

The patched kernel provided for Yosemite should work with your CPU. If it needs any system kexts replaced so it work, then these are usually included with the patched kernel.

What about sierra (or el cap)?

No, you need a patched kernel for El Capitan, not sure if there are any for Sierra.

With OpenCore and the AMD Vanilla process the oldest version you could use is High Sierra.

That maybe why there weren’t many patched kernels for Sierra.

I became more Intel Hack focused (reduced the time spent messing with my old Athlon II and FX AMD systems) when Sierra was released, so I didn’t pay much attention to the kernel development over at InsanelyMac around that time.

Also it looks like 10 minutes just to get to picker, why does that happen
