Hi!
I'm assembling a new machine, using Gigabyte B650M DS3H. I've been following https://forum.amd-osx.com/threads/ryzen-7000-testing.3318/page-84#post-25894 (and the dortania how-to), using OC 0.8.8, but am stuck. The last lines when booting are

AMDCPUSupport: trying to init PCI service...
HID: Legacy shim 2

Tried some stuff:
won't make any difference.
What am I missing?

I've found the thread https://forum.amd-osx.com/threads/help-with-b650-ryzen-7700x-cannot-boot-into-os-x.4237/ mentioning a BIOS bug, and actually when booting Linux there are error messages in kern.log:

ACPI: Added _OSI(Linux-HPI-Hybrid-Graphics)
ACPI BIOS Error (bug): Failure creating named object [\_SB.PCI0.GPP7._PRW], AE_ALREADY_EXISTS (20200925/dswload2-326)
ACPI Error: AE_ALREADY_EXISTS, During name lookup/catalog (20200925/psobject-220)
ACPI BIOS Error (bug): Failure creating named object [\_SB.PCI0.GPP2._PRW], AE_ALREADY_EXISTS (20200925/dswload2-326)
ACPI Error: AE_ALREADY_EXISTS, During name lookup/catalog (20200925/psobject-220)
ACPI BIOS Error (bug): Failure creating named object [\_GPE._L08], AE_ALREADY_EXISTS (20200925/dswload2-326)
ACPI Error: AE_ALREADY_EXISTS, During name lookup/catalog (20200925/psobject-220)
ACPI: Skipping parse of AML opcode: OpcodeName unavailable (0x0014)
ACPI: 15 ACPI AML tables successfully acquired and loaded
ACPI: [Firmware Bug]: BIOS _OSI(Linux) query ignored
ACPI: Interpreter enabled

Already using the latest BIOS.

Ok, so apparently the patch mentioned isn't for Gigabyte Aorus boards only, but does help on other Gigabyte B650M as well.
